I suggest you ...

Rotate iPhone videos

When uploading videos created by the iPhone, depending on the orientation that the video was taken, smugmug will display these in the wrong rotation. Youtube and Flickr do not have this problem.

Please provide a way to automagically detect the orientation of uploaded iPhone video *and* provide a rotate tool for videos.

We now support portrait-oriented iPhone videos. Sorry it took us so long!

Please fix...with hundreds of videos with incorrect orientation, this is a problem that can't require more user massaging prior to upload. Please, SmugMug, provide a tool solution...Phanfare does - please do the same.

****, just purchased Smugmug for my Iphone backup and just find this issue after uploading all my files! We are in 2013 and issue is reported since 2009!
Smugmug team, anyway to fix this or give a tool to rotate it?

The videos from IPhone S4 is still not rotated, all landscape videos are displayed as portrait.

So much media being generated by the iPhone. Gotta have this.

This has been open for five months and is still not fixed, when all the other major photo sites have been able to complete it.
