Support rotating 360 degree or spherical panoramas

There are a few websites that allow uploading 360 degree or spherical panoramas. I'd really like to have them on smugmug! Ideally the possibility of uploading interactive panoramas created for Flash and java viewers, or even better, a smugmug viewer with smugmug quality (a dream!) and all we need to upload is a seamless 360 degree .jpeg file...

Please add this ASAP. This is killing my business because I cant display my niche and edge with my own solar and drone websites that I have both through SmugMug. Please please help me grow my business without Facebook!

While looking into these 360 degree cameras I immediately thought, what if I can't share them on smugmug? Please add this feature!

This has turned into a major request.. I whole heartedly agree that support for rotating 360 or spherical panoramas should be incuded as part of the Smugmug platform!

        Please consider

As a product photographer who offers 360 product views it would be nice to be able to showcase these to potential customers rather than say, "yeah, I can do that." As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Please, please, please add this feature.

All wordpress sites can already work with a plugin to facilitate 360 content. Smugmug as a specialised photography and media website should not stay behind!

I do real Estate photography and upload all the pictures and videos on my smugmug site and provide a link to my gallery to the clients. It has worked very well so far. I now started doing 360 virtual pano tours and want to include these in my site.
Please provide FTP facilities or a way to upload the pano tours on our site.
Else I may have to look at other sites that offer this facility.

Virtual 360 tours have ben going on for a long time now and all real estate agents want this as a primary way of showing the homes. Don't understand why Smugmug has not caught up to this trend.

Agreed. I'm shooting some exciting images with my Ricoh Theta. I can't show them on Smugmug.

I've started taking Panorama's for clients, and would add my weight to the need for a way to view them on my SmugMug account please..

Dear SmugMug-Team; on 7th of november 2016 you encouraged us to move our pics from Dropbox, Google Photos or Flickr to your place. Please be aware that many users for example of Panoramio (taken over by Google and soon closed) will follow this invitation with pleasure. But especially these photographers know and use the photosphere option for some time. They would be more than happy if they could continue to share their "virtual images" with friends. So you have a **** of a potential for the spherical panoramas!

I wholeheartedly agree. this is a must-have for us and one that will make me leave in the new year should it not be incorporated.

This is also a very key request for me. It is something that many sites, including Flickr already have and if not implemented by the end of 2016 our company will be changing to a service that includes this.

I am a real estate photographer. My clients LOVE my Smug Mug site. It is super easy for them to manage their respective galleries. I am in the process of creating pages for them to showcase their homes. Having the ability to publish a 360 pano in a viewer that would allow auto rotate plus manual browse of the pano in the viewer.

360-degree pictures and videos are the next wave of visual expression and sharing. They are increasingly supported by social networks, and there is a constant influx of new hardware. They can be taken with smartphones, or with hardware like the Insta360 Nano : a $199 add-on to an iPhone 6 or latter, that can instantly upload 360-degree pictures and videos to social networks. Pictures can be in .jpg format, and the videos in .mp4 (H.264) format, but their metadata tells the hosting site to handle them as 360-degree files; then the customer can navigate them as such. I am holding an investment on hardware pending on a proper way to have them hosted and shown, in a more private/controlled environment.

I have many more clients requesting VR and it's a new way for me to generate more income and please/surprise my clients.

I have been using and raving about smugmug for years now but I need a platform that will grow with me and my businesses. Unfortunately, if this is not implemented, and there is not workaround, I will find another platform that will allow me to grow as technology changes and as my clients needs change.

Please let me know if this functionality is in the works. If it is not, please let me know what platform will be best to implement this.

I believe in smugmug, you always do the right thing. I'm hoping you do that here as well.

        Thank you.

I'm an architecture photographer and cannot seem to find a good solution for 360 photos (i.e. virtual tour style pics). The online hosting sites I've seen out there are either terrible or crazy expensive for commercial use.

I know Samsung is about to launch their highly anticipated Gear VR camera and I have no idea how they're going to host those things online outside of Youtube (which apparently supports 360 video?).

Facebook does a good job of implementing this. Smugmug should add this ASAP!
